FAQs

What should I wear under my crochet garments?

A very popular question! Our go to answer will always be “whatever the hell you want or don’t want.” However, our current bralette selection offers full chest coverage due to the smaller stitches. While you may be able to see a little light through the tops, once they’re on your body, you should not be able to see through them. That being said, some folks opt to wear pasties. Our favorite local Austin brand is Kitty Titties. They offer a variety of single use pasties that pair perfectly with all of our garments.

How do I wash my crochet garments?

Crochet garments are meant to be worn and washed with care! While the majority of our garments are made with 100% cotton yarn, we recommend hand washing with a gentle detergent. Good Housekeeping has a great article for reference!

Do you have a storefront?

Not yet! However, if you’re local to Austin, TX, you can find us at many of the local area vendor markets. Please visit our Pop Up Market Calendar to plan your next in person shopping experience.

Do you offer custom garments not in your shop?

Yes, depending on the scope of the project. We’re happy to chat about the possibilities. We can also alter our current garments to your exact specifications. Maybe you want a scallop edge or some beaded fringe…..we got you, boo! Please fill out our contact us form and we’ll get back to you ASAP.

What sizes do you carry?

One of our core values is abstaining from traditional numbered sizes. That system is unreliable. Therefore, we live by the motto, “Find a fit, not a size.” When shopping online with us, you’ll always select custom sizing. When checking out, you’ll be prompted for garment- specific measurements and chest size (cup.) If we have any questions on our end, we’ll be sure to message you privately. If you need help with your measurements, you can always contact us. We’re here to help!

Do you really make every single garment yourself?

The short answer is yes! 99.9% of all the garments are made by Lil’ Lion (Millie) herself! On occasion when we’re preparing for large festivals and vendor markets (Hello, Austin City Limits Festival!), another talented fiber artist in Austin assists on starting garments which are then later finished by Millie. As mentioned, we are a Slow Fashion Brand. What we do truly is a labor of love.

Are you available to vend at out of state markets or festivals?

With our recent success at Mutiny Market’s pop up shop at Austin City Limits Music Festival, we’re down to hit the road! Do you think our brand aligns with yours? Fill out our contact us form and let’s talk about it!

I’d like to be a stockist, is that possible?

Yes! Please fill out our contact us form to start a conversation about what we can offer.
